Besides better camera and a few other bells and whistles, I would wait. OS 5 will make things better for 4.0 and 4s, however to see a real difference, you need to wait till Iphone 5 to come out. Save your $$$ and wait...

cos you're in america and it doesnt work like that over here. i read the offers that you guys have got and its a great deal! australia gets ripped off by itunes mate..we pay 17 bucks an album!

missing the point champ...price comparison to US and Australia is massively different. its 200 for an iphone 4s in the US but close to 800 over here...

Apparently we can't use the Iphone 4's for USA in Australia.

I'm in the Telco/I.T industry and I'm pretty sure the price difference is because when you purchase an iPhone in the US, you have to commit to a network at the time of purchase (e.g. AT&T, Sprint or Verizon) so the handset is essentially subsidised by the carrier (sign up, use our network and we will give you a cheap iPhone). The iPhone 4S won't be avail for outright sale in the US until November.. I think.

Difference in Australia is that you can already buy it outright... You just pay premium because it's not being subsidised by any network.. $899 outright vs. projected $649 in the states when avail outright.. Still a pretty big difference (Apple is ripping Aussies off).

P.S. Buy a Galaxy S II instead =)

Well I got my iPhone4s today. Haven't opened it yet because my girlfriend just said it arrived and I'm at work. Two more hours till I can get a break to grab it.

went to optus yesterday and asked to upgrade to a 4s they said a 7-10 day wait

So i thought stuff it im gonna be different a got a galaxy S2.

Schweeeeet love this one man, i reckon it burns iphone (IMHO)
Plus i got some free friggen home zone thingy that some how gives me free calls from my phone at home and 5 bars of reception upto 30m away from it.
I might do a lil review soon
