Hey guys,
I'm an Australian record producer and audio engineer, soon to be moving to London.

I will be completely honest; I'm not a card collector, myself, but I have found some of my old collections from when I was much younger.
I'm looking to get some values on the complete sets I have and will post in the right place on this forum.

Cheers!
Dax.

DEpending on where you are in Canberra DAx, we can meet up and i can give you a pretty fair estimate. I'm in Belco.
Hi Jason,
Thanks so much for the offer. I'm in Gungahlin. To save you some time, I can tell you a bit about the cards I have. This is a post I put up yesterday:

132x (complete set) of Regina 1988 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie cards, plus ~90 duplicates.

86/88x Topps 1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated movie cards, missing 51 & 65.

61x Classic 1994 Mortal Kombat cards (in individual plastic slips), missing 6, 7, 9, 11, 13-15, 20-22, 27-30, 34, 35, 37, 41-44, 49-51, 55, 56, 60, 62, 64, 65, 67, 69-72, 83, 94, 97, 98.
Also have 10 duplicates and MKII 'arcade preview' cards P1, 2xP4, LE8 (limited edition).

18x TZM (AU Magazine) Mortal Kombat cards (in individual plastic slips), including 5 special cards (Jade, Kintaro, Shao Kahn, Noob Saibot & Smoke).

Approx 150x 1989 Ghostbusters II movie cards

I'll be honest, I have no idea how to assess and grade condition, and would seek experienced input prior to a sale.

Seeing as their entertainment cards .... Honestly don't see the prices going overly huge. The MK cards might get a bit more than normal, but the rest ... probably not. You might get $!0 tops for the TMNT set (more likely about the $5-7.50 range), but that's about it. For singles probably about $0.50 for the MK specials, but about $0.05 for the rest. Unless your talking star wars, most entertainment doesn't fetch a whole lot - especially from the mass-produced era of the lat 80's, early 90's.

As to condition .... if there's no creases, no dinged corners and no scratches/gum stains on the surfaces of the cards then they're pretty much mint.
