Interesting read but untrue. What do others think?

Rubbish for the most part I think. I don't sell heaps on Ebay but sometimes you get way more than you anticipated / hoped and sometimes under.

For an article that's headlined "Rugby league cards depreciating in time" he sure spends a lot of time talking about unauthenticated memorabilia, and not cards.

Tried find the listing for those 95 kangaroos cards, but the articles is from last year so the listing is long gone.

I thought so much. The cards he/she is writing about also happens to be the time when Dynamic over-floodded the market. They actually did have a price guide on their cards which I got some time back and low end cards are half of what they predicted as a great investment (YES, that's how they pitched it). Sig cards are a fraction of what they estimated the value back then

The napkin and mouth guard talk reminded me of the nanny's that support the Swans. In a pre GF interview with Sunrise, one had some old footballers strapping from 40yrs ago. Pile of crap worth nothing

He is either referring to that 94 dynamic series with Mal on the folder or maybe some IP signed cards from that 18 card set Coca Cola released in 95, any other suggestions?

He wrote "a rare pack of signed 1995 Kangaroos footy cards". As far as I know he is talking about something that doesnt exist. And thats in the first sentence of his fairy tale. how would he know they are signed if they are in a pack.

Earlier in the week a napkin that allegedly had been used by ex-Origin prop David Gillespie at a post-match function – according to ‘try09bears’, a seller with a 100% feedback rating – was listed at the BuyItNow price of $1.20.

Please god tell me I didn't miss out on this!!!

Did anyone on here win the auction?!?! I NEED this in my collection!!! And for only $1.20, I'd pay at least $1000 for it!

By the way, you all know the article's a piss-take?
