Insurance on collections

Ok so after talking with our insurance company last week being aami, I always thought collections came under contents insurance but this is not the case. You have to list them on your policy. Just thought I'd put it out there unless I was the only Bafoon that was not aware!!!
 
Yeah you have to add them on to your policy, and make sure you have it in writing as well. Have all my collection added as an extra.
 
I'm with NRMA who allow you to itemize certain things and put no limit on value. My card collection alone comes in at almost 15k and all I'm paying between that, my guitar collection, toys, computers, cd's, books, comics and household goods is $32.95 a month. bloody good deal if you ask me.
