Sorry for having this thread up late gang, but I did end up not having internet connection at my relative's apartment over the past 3 days in New York City due to some complications with the computer there I won't go into details about.
Since the Pistons were out of town for the one week I get off here at school, I decided to take up on my relatives' invitation to her apartment in NYC for 5 days. Besides browsing around the NBA Store along with checking out a couple places around town, I was able to figure out where the Indiana Pacers hotel was at in NYC. This also turned out to be the game that my relative ended up scoring free tickets to thanks to a connection she has in NYC.
So I ended up doing the Pacers at the hotel and the game in NYC back on Monday. The security guy for the Pacers is still a class act; enough said. Here are the results:
Indiana Pacers in NYC 2/23/09
Indiana Pacers
Maceo Baston 1 Team Roster Sheet
Marquis Daniels 2 8x10 photos, 2 cards (1 for kyerkes98)
Travis Diener 1 card
Jeff Foster 2 8x10 photos!!! (1 for kyerkes98)
Stephen Graham 1 card
Jarrett Jack 16/16 cards, and a pic with!!! (No typo here. He is a class act!!! Asked me how I was doing and told me how much he enjoyed visiting NYC and the East Coast in general.) (4 for kyerkes98, 2 for kjamidon.)
Josh McRoberts 1 card
Troy Murphy 8/8 cards!!! (2 for kjamidon, 2 for kyerkes98)
Brandon Rush 2 cards, and a pic!!!
Jim O'Brien 1 Team Roster Sheet
Sam Perkins 1 card
That is all I got from the Pacers.
New York Knicks
Chris Duhon 1 card (1 for Xavier13)
Al Harrington 1 card (1 for kyerkes98)
Larry Hughes 1 card (Didn't switch markers and signed it with a fading black sharpie. Ouch...)
Allan Houston 1 8x10 photo
That is all I got from the Knicks.
It was nice to be able to graph the NBA in a different city for a change. There is definately alot more to do over there in the east coast obviously. I was glad I had a chance to fit this in while checking out this town for the week.
If anyone is wondering how I did with the Magic, I got nothing to report as I was unable to find the hotel and the relative I was with for the week could not find tickets at all to the game. Not a total loss here as I will see the Orlando Magic for the first time this season as they come here to Michigan in about 1.5 weeks.
That is all I got to share for now. If anyone wants to see pics/scans of anything, lmk as it will take time for me as I got some unpacking to do over the next couple of days. Thanks alot for looking!!!
