Oh yeah cards shops! I forgot about that!
I visited two in LA, one in Vegas, Anaheim and NY; to be totally honest EVERY one was more expensive (per pack) than here!
There was a shop in Anaheim that had good box prices though
That said, last time I went (2007) I visited a store in Miami and that had really competetive prices on everything.
It would seem to me, the best way to get your cards at a good price is from wholesalers like DACARDWORLD!
Hey Brad! Yeah we did have a blast, especially the daughter @ Disneyland
Alcatraz was eerie, it reeked of history but lacked the due attention something as significant as that deserves.
The 45 minute audio tour was BRILLIANT (no wonder it has won tourist awards) it made the tour 200% better, almost interactive you could say.
I walked around and couldn't believe the views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge from The Rock.......I also couldn't believe that wives and children of the guards lived and spent their lives on the same small island as some of the worst criminals in the world. One great thing is that it is soon to be restored to it's original state, when that is completed I will be looking to go and visit again because quite a lot was burnt down during the Indian occupation so it would be even more impressive fully resored.
I'll leave you with some pics of my journey to and on THE ROCK!
<----- Al Capone is on the far left, Machine Gun Kelly is to his right!
Cheers mate, I certainly won't forget this trip in a rush!
Although it was my 3rd visit it was the longest and most entertaining (Especially seeing the $ to $ was almost even the whole time).
Good time to travel to the US - I recommend it thoroughly
