Iggy Jersey #'d Mail!!!!!!

Hey guys!

Had a couple come in the past 2 days and was gonna wait til Friday, after I got more (if I did!!!)

But had to do one now!!!

Well here we go!!!

Had this just come in!!!

06/07 Bowman Elevation Power Brokers Relics Dual - Andre Iguodala 9/99

Only thing is!!!!

It arrived in this............

A normal envelope and piece of skinny cardboard!!!!

Resulting in a big ass crease down the middle of the card!!!

Shown here.....

But as its Jersey #'d, its a keeper! Just wish people took more care!!!

But on a lighter note!!!

Also received this yesterday!!!!!!

Hey buddy!!!

Just had a look and no there isnt a crease on the back!!!!

I guess it was done during manufacturing then?

How does that happen?

I still love the card, it was just a shock when i pulled it out of the envelope!!!

Yeah thought that might have been the case looking at it! Sometimes the pieces of jersey don;t sit well or something and the card krimps a little. Annoying, but not the sellers fault

Ypu're going nuts on jersey numbered!!

No, it wasn't done during manufacture...it was still more than likely in transit. The creases are showing up on the front, in the "weak" sections of the card (ie. where the GU's pieces are), there is no necessity for there to be equivalent creases on the back of the card, which being one piece (ie. no cut out parts) would be stronger/more resistant to creasing. The card probably bent toward the front of the card, which would cause those sort of "hilling" type creases.

You should know from the pic of the card before you bought it as to whether it was creased in transit or in manufacture.

To be honest if it's in a toploader the bubble mailer wouldn't have done too much more for it I don't think, musta been crushed!

If a card was bent that far forward to do that, it wouldn;t go back into a flat shape again went bent back, particularly without making at least small lines on the back. Even the cardboard and such that the card came in looks perfectly undamaged which would suggest not transit also.

Also no evidence on the side of the card, only the card surface. Try and bend a card that much upwards without damaging the sides!

True, I've had a creased ben gordon auto jersey looked like that on the front but the back still had small lines. If it was crushed in transit it'd have those. If not it might be manufactured.

Stop the speculation and post the ebay photo

Rhys - good to see some jersey #'d love!!! Bummer about the crease!

I once had a KG/Kobe dual game floor #21/100 arrive from the states in a white envelope - I opened it up and the card fell out on the floor - it didn't have a single crease on it!!! f

yeah the pic in the auction, was a pic of 4 cards together, so couldn't tell if card has creases or not!! But doesn't look like it does!

But I'm not too fussed as I got it for $8 or so!!!

Hey guys!

Just got a msg from the seller!!!

As I msgd him straight away!

He said it wasn't damaged or creased before he sent it and is refunding me the postage amount!!!

as he says its out of his hands after then!!!

I'm happy with that, coz I can't really be bothered fighting over $8

But I'll be getting $4 back! haha!!!

I wouldnt have thought it'd have been damaged in transit, if it was in a toploader. Was the toploader sealed off?

The card wouldnt have been damaged if it stayed in the toploader.

The cardboard and regular envelope should have creases on them, if they'd have been bent enough for the card to have been damaged.

Whilst the plastic toploader would resume it's shape, the others should have creases on them.

Couple of nice cards you got there tho Rhys!

Yeah i do ay!!!! I've had a few damaged in shipping!!!!!

But hey, what do u do!!!????

Its still an awesome card IMO and basically a 1/1, coz there's no other 9/99 from that set!!

But yeah guys, it looks like it was damaged in transit!!!

Plus TAZ, the toploader wasn't sealed off!!!!

and the thin cardboard it came in has creases too!!!
