Ok so, I bought this card off eBay
from a user with 1593 feedback at 99.9%. I'm not sure about how genuine it is. So I'll present my case and feel free to give me your opinions
So, it's a 2010-11 Timeless Treasures NBA Apprentice Laundry Tag and it SHOULD be a 1/1.
But as you can see on the back it is not numbered.
So I noticed that and was like oh whatever it's just a GU that some has tampered with BUT;
a) It doesn't look to have been tampered with;
a) It has the "PRIME" next to the window as the Laundry Tag would, which pretty much eliminates a tampered-with GU.
b) It doesn't have a serial number AT ALL (GU's are /99, Patches /25, Logomen /5) which would eliminate ANY tampered-with card.
c) Lastly, it still has the "The enclosed event-worn swatch is guaranteed by Panini America, Inc"
Which brings me to the question;
Has this guy literally made this card from scratch to sell as a fake?
If this is the case, why DeMarcus Cousins and not Wall, Griffin, LeBron, Durant, Kobe etc. etc.?
OR
Is this a Panini Quality Control issue where this card IS in fact the 1/1 Timeless Treasures Laundry Tag and they have just not stamped it?
To be honest, This doesn't seem too farfetched as it is the ONLY Laundry Tag I've seen in the 2 and a half years I've been collecting DeMarcus Cousins.
Please let me know if you see something I have missed and what your opinion is.
And would there be a way to Authenticate it with Panini?
