Awesome Mate!! I love it there! I'm going back for the 6th time on the 15th of Nov
Game tickets is easy, Stubhub.com is easily your best bet. Try and go for the e-ticket ones, just to make life easier.
As for Merch stores there is a Champs Sports and a Foot Locker House of Hoops at the Beverly Centre in Beverly Hills and there are also several sports stores and another House of Hoops in Las Vegas.
If you have any non-ball related Q's, I'm actually a travel agent so shoot me a PM if you have any questions!
Just been there 1 month ago. If you have plans to visit any particular card store, let me know. I'll be able to tell whether it is worth your while. Cheers Alex
Are you driving in either LA or LV? Makes a hell of a difference.
For example, in LV, if you have no car, you can forget about going to the card stores. Because the card store is situated outside the strip, the public transport there is absolutely crap. Furthermore, you gonna a temperature of mid-30 or even high 30, so you'll be sweating like a pig when you reach there. Alternatively you can take a cab, it would cost about $120 return trip in cab fares from the strip.
I just paid for my trip to LA/Vegas/NYC in the weekend... I'm going in Feb though...
Haven't paid for my tickets to NBA games yet though, I'll be in LA for lakers/suns clippers/rockets, and going to afew knicks games and nets games.. card shops aren't really on my agenda seeing the games are as its my dream to watch the lakers and plan on spending abit on good seats
and plan on sitting behind the lakers bench and tossing up if i should pay for courtside to clippers games lakers $550 per ticket , clippers courtside $405
Not necessarily LA, I've been to LA 5 times and have never had a car. They have a great hop-on-hop-off tourist bus system that gets you everywhere you need to go and is cheaper than a car.You 100% MUST have a car in L.A and Vegas, its very easy to drive there and its the only way to see everything...
Its way cheaper then you might think too....
