In July last year I redeemed a bunch of cards with Upper Deck, this was the first time I had ever redeemed any cards. After waiting for 6 months with no word I decided to email them asking if there was any update and I also asked if the player did not sign the cards then what were my options.
A day later I received a reply saying "We still currently anticipate the athlete to sign. We can always replace the redemption and if you would like to do so please name five players or teams that you like to collect. We cannot guarantee those players or teams but it will be of equal Beckett value."
From experience is waiting 6 months normal, and having waited this long is it likely the player is not going to sign?
I have waited over a year and still got it. Sometimes waiting for pc cards is better than getting replacements that you don't want. You may never see those pc cards again!
I've heard of people waiting 2+ years, and previously waiting 1+ year myself but got impatient and asked for a replacement as it was only a Mario Chalmers AU I didn't really want anyway.
Thanks for your thoughts guys. From what you have all said I think I will wait and if nothing comes through in another 6 months or so then I will request a replacement.
