As I have stated, I know nothing about grading and what sort of cards to get graded or if I should get them graded so any help would be fantastic.
1st: Anthony Davis select hot rookies gold 3/10...
If I keep this card, should I get it graded and if I did would it be worth more???
2nd: I have completed my set of 15, 2010/11 playoff contenders - rookie of the year contenders gold auto's all numbered to /49...
Would it be worth getting them all graded, I don't plan on selling them???
A lot of people do value a high rated card from BGS 9.5 or higher.
If you do grade it BGS or PSA are your best options.
I am a set collector, and most graded cards turn me off.
The only time I get graded cards is if its a PC player or I am trying to collect the whole set graded.
There arr risks associated with grading where they may bend your card when unpacking and then grade it a shitty score of 1. There is a few thread on here giving example of this.
A lot of people like graded cards more & yes, if they get good grades then it will increase the price as long as it's done by a respectable (recognized may be a better word lol) grading service.
But as Dom has said, there has been a few horror stories with certain grading companies, so grading doesn't come without risk.
