ahh nevermind Trey give it 6 months and you can get ya P's, not real difference apart from constant cops checkin ya car and no booze :) . Nah good luck mate.

Doesn't anyone drive around these days? lol! I got mine as soon as I could, but got stuck with the new green P's system which sucked. I don't blame you guys for not getting one, all the tests and shit, it really sucks going through the process.

Why do I need a licence???

I live in the hub of the best public transport in Australia, work in town and can ride as far as I want in a day. :-)

Having a car in Melbourne if you live central is not needed.

i keep second guessing myself, I can do the job without the licence, its just a major pain..I leave home at 7:30 get home just after 5pm now...if I take this job, its leave at 6:30, home at 6:30 and I did that for a while and it really drains ya

at the moment I walk 1 street, get a bus, get to work in 25 mins. Changing locations will mean putting people out to get lifts, walking 20 mins from work to a train station in the middle of winter in the dark...hmmm

i havent got my licence either never wanted it still dont, but i might decided to go for my L's soon but maybe not .like i said never wanted although i DO want my bike licence so i can get a scooter, heheheh

i cant believe so many people still havent got a license at their age! every single person i know my age got their L's and P's as as soon as they could, it was like a rite of passage.

Adelaide is a lot different from Melbourne/Sydney etc JZA. If I lived in Adelaide or outer sub/country I would of probably too. The reality is a car is mostly the slower way around and more of a hassle and cost. I don't even have a carspace so I don't know what I would do even if I had a car ;-)

Exactly, the best part about year 12 was doing laps down the main street after school with the stereo turned way up. Crap that was a long time ago.
I've got an International driver's license too which lets me drive when I go to China for work. It's crazy over there. I've got my bike license as well. And my boat license..
