Ok fellow collectors, the story with the Broncos cards cannot get any stranger, first off I should point out that I now have them......WOOHOO I hear you all say, yes but its how they arrived............. I went to the letter box mid morning to get some junk mail out (postie had not been yet) and in my letter box wrapped in newspaper I found the 8 cards I had bought from Ray...........WTF. I rang AUPOST and reported the find and they have no idea how the cards got to my place, I have an idea but those ideas do not paint a pretty picture for AUPOST.

No Mischa, I got the envelope from the postie in person, when he gave it to me with other mail it was damaged (open) and cards gone, only the receipt was inside.
I might try that as i am missing 2 parcels to, both from here
Australia post should be held accountable for their actions, if the general public interferes with the mail its a gaol-able offence so if an Australia post employee tampers with some ones mail they too should be dealt with and in Dave's case that's exactly what it looks like, someone at Australia Post has found out that Dave collects cards and not just cheap stuff he gets some pretty expensive cards and who ever it is, knows it too.

I can tell you mate that stealing mail is a Federal offense and the postal authorities will prosecute him if you call them. You contact them by going to the post office.
471.7 Tampering with mail-receptacles
(1) A person is guilty of an offence if the person dishonestly:
(a) opens a mail-receptacle; or
(b) tampers with a mail-receptacle.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years.
(2) A person is guilty of an offence if:
(a) the person intentionally opens a mail-receptacle; and
(b) the person is not authorised by Australia Post to open the mail-receptacle; and
(c) the person does so knowing that he or she is not authorised by Australia Post to open the mail-receptacle.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years.
i hope that helped.
Cheers
