alright i have $10 to spend on some derrick rose base cards from 08/09

i am new to basketball cards

i have already obtained a gu and a couple of rookie cards looking for some more

hey jack
unfortunately not sure you can get rose patch or auto for that much
a GU if you're very lucky

i think autos start around $100aud

right now (last couple of days) i have noticed rose cards are going for about 20% higher on ebay than they normally do too - maybe its due to gordon is leaving

all the best. i am sure a nice member on here can offer you something decent for your money

gu=game used

GU = game used (jersey card)
patch is the multicolour part / stitchings (name/number) of the singlet
whereas the normal GU is like the rest of the fabric bits (one colour usually)
although terms are used interchangeably sometimes

here is an example:

the S and the P are normal jersey (GU) whereas the X is a patch

i can send you examples when i get home this evening if other members have not explained it better by then

unfortunately i do not have one for mr rose

so i am now looking for a gu from the 08/09 season of derrick rose

does anyone have that?

no difference between the cards jezza. just that the one you showed ended early

The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.

either because the seller had a change of heart or received a private offer too good to refuse

Quite simple.

If you had read everything you have been told here and done a little research yourself.

You are not going to get a rose patch or auto for $20

you might get a jersey if you are lucky, here are some recent sales:

I'll start by trying to rip off some Perth fools for you this weekend and get you a rose GU plus a few RCs

Mate it sounds like your around the age of 14 - 15, Rose cards (as you have come to learn) command big sums of money atm, maybe try working up to GU cards. Start with common cards and get your PC rolling. I may have 1 or 2 Rose common cards atm, but IMO if your trying to start with the higher end stuff of one of the form players of the comp you need to be a bit more realistic.

I'm not having a personal attack, but just think it through.
