Just picked up my order for magnetic one touch cases. Props to NWCardSupplies . Unfortunately one of my cards is too long anybody got tips on how to shave a card or how to force it into the one touch or can recommend a slightly longer one touch holder. It is too long by the tiniest bit (1 mm or less). If you recommend a shaving technique I really need it to work cause the card is worth over 1k.
hehehehe, hsv. As a Jordan collector would probably make your balls curdle to hear that the card I was proposing to shave is a Jordan Monumental Marks auto GU /50
WTF DO NOT <<< shave a card valued that much. Just suck it up and get a different sort of protection. Sure it may not display as well but its better than making it worthless
There's your problem right there, this is a common problem with ultra pro, I've found it many a time that there one touches are a tad smaller, don't touch the card, try a different brand case, I can't think of the name right now of the other major brand that produces them.... Anyone?
You can shave the inside of the case with sand paper.
Tools:
1) pen or something to mark the case
2) you need something with a straight edge, maybe a blunt knife. And you need 3 types of coarse sand paper: diff grades from rough to really smooth.
3) Cotton wool, tooth Paste.
Ok, mark the inside of the case/ card holder to the exact size you want the card to sit. Get the knife and wrap the roughest sand paper to shave the inside of the case for a short while. do it so that it reaches the mark. Use the other finder sand paper and sand it down abit more, then use the finest sand paper to smooth it out more.
Now, wash out the residue and dry it.
Now get the cotton wool and put a drop of tooth paste onto the cotton wool and rub the sanded area: that will finish it off and it will get rid of any cut marks on the holder. Finally wash out the Holder and dry it.
Your card holder will look like new!

As everyone else said, do not tamper with the card in any way. As for fixing a one touch for it, why not use something like a dremel. A Router would be a bit hard to control for something so delicate imo. Good luck with it champ
PS, do you have a pic of this stunner of a card ? would love to see it
