Ok just an idea I thought I'd put up, I have changed my international postage on cards to around $7 Worldwide EXCEPT USA which is $16, for that I will registered post it and any surplus donate to a charity that caters for non american (ie the Iraqi child who is blown to shit in US crossfire) casualties of the Iraq war.

It seems we're all shitty at the majority of Yank sellers, and am wondering if any fellow forum members would adopt this policy. It may only be one or two, and may have bugger all effect.

But I for one am sick of being ripped by Overly patriotic narrow minded American w#nkers.

This may cause controversy!

hey for what it's worth dude. I live in the US and would gladly act as middle man for anyone who wants to reduce their shipping costs. Plus some sellers refuse to sell overseas. Shipping cost would be what it costs US buyers, then i just send however anyone wants......airmail, registered....whatever

Well, when you have 12 missing articles over the past 3 months, and 11 are from the US (the other from Canada) well then yeah I will generalise and rightfully so. Having lived with people who were exchange students in the US, (Michigan State) and hearing all the stories..... I will not retract my statements on the basis of 1-2% who are normal, and they should not take offence.

FWIW I only yesterday got a package that was sent via USPS registered and insured and was sent on the 25th of June.

Cheers
Matt

I'm an Aussie man, married to a yank, and lived here for 3 years....and most aren't w#nkers dude. They are different to us, in many ways which aren't good.....but I don't think the general population should be judged like that

Assumably though, Nexxus you would have won your paypal claim and therefore not lost your money? How are so many of your parcels going missing ... I have ONLY bought from US sellers ... ~150 transactions over eighteen months and I've lost ONE!

Thanks for the info too, Matt (Nash13) ... I must admit I am getting close to sending the seller a polite email to see if they can use the tracking number and find out where it is ... based on your experience, I might leave it another week.

brad!!!, stop s##tstirring lol, just think there r w###ers in every country, % may differ from country 2 country but generalization is unfair 2 some

Yup we don't need crap statements like that on the board when you are not only dealing with sellers but a postal system. And most of the problems can be avoided too by buyers here communicating. Time to start shutting down these pointless threads and accusations.

All this started by a member that still hasn't got it to send cards in bubble mailers and I deal with the complaints about it and rightly so.
