A set of Select 1998/99 Hobby cards?

Has anyone got a scan of one of the hobby versions compared to the retail versions that I could have a look at?

Base sets of 100 are about $40 Nazim. They are the same card as the retail box but are holofoil cards. Sorry i have no picture.

Thanks Owen. I've been offered a set of the hobby for $35 and the retail for $20. Wasn't sure if the price was right and which one to opt for.

Hi there,

I have attached a sample of retail vs hobby.
The Hobby is nicer because of the holographics which in the scan appears blue but depending how you look at it there is differences in colour with normal straight ahead being chome.
Looks good in the gold holographic version as well but this is obviously far more expensive approx $240+ on a good day.:v:

Out of the entire set including sigs I am missing only Hobby World Class WC7 Alec Stewart and Retail World Class WC10 Glenn Mcgrath any help appreciated.

The hobby set is by far the nicer set, the retail is quite cheap looking and on thinner cardstock.

If you are only getting one set then definitely go hobby...
