@Awoj21 i think Mitch Kupchek has stated that he envisions it that way.
I think he's right.
Bill Simmons says in his book that he believes Kobe has a back door deal in his contract, in which, when he retires, he will become part owner of the Lakers. Im interested to see if that comes to fruition.

I think kobe has been great for the sport and who can't appriciate someone who has given his best years to the game.he will go down as one one of the greats in the eyes on many. I don't know when he will retire but when that day does come I hope he leaves the game on a winning note.
With that said this season boy is he in a shooting slump that I wouldn't wish upon anyone and I feel it is bad for his image as usually alot of people forget all the good things people do and only remember what they did last and at the moment he isn't playing well at all.
