How do you guys celebrate it? In Japan the girls are obliged to give the boys they have their eyes on, a special or a home made chocolate and give the other guys around her what they call 'giri choko'(it can be any candy). And if the guy reciprocates, she will receive something on March 14,the 'white day'. On this day she will know whether the guys have the same feelings for her. Personally, I don't like the idea of having the girls to initiate it and one guy told me once that many guys don't prefer it either because they don't like saying no to a girl and breaking her heart and that a true genleman will surely make the move first. Still, not every man is a gentleman and they need to be pushed, don't they?

Isnt ever day meant to be Valentines day?

Should be nothing special as you should surpise and treat your girlfriend/boyfriends every day

I myself, will probably just be playing COD all day :D

Usually I try to cook a nice meal for the wife, then generally get takeaway after my fail cooking attempts.

Cheers
Matt

Simple. We're men, and they're women. That answers all

Valentines Day - might get the wife a bunch of flowers, but mostly I just try and make more of an effort to think before I speak!! (try not to say things like "I can't believe those jeans still fit you" etc)

LOL...nice.

Won't be in the same place as the missus this time around so we'll prob have an early V-day dinner somewhere and I've already gotten her a gift. The missus has got terrible taste in gifts but at least she tries :)

Because when they are happy then you are happy and when they are not happy then they make your life miserable!!

And when we're unhappy, they become unhappy to make it about them and force us to make them happy.

She can get annoyed and unhappy because it is a woman's perogrative (and occassionally it's the time of the month, okay MOST of the time) but men must remain even-tempered at all times but not so much as to appear distant and uncaring. Men will always have to apologise for being unhappy even though the event that led to him being unhappy was the woman's behaviour to begin with. That's why you'll often find yourself thinking, "Now how the heck did I end up apologising when she was in the wrong again??"
