how do i use paypal here

hi i just purchased my first thing last night and had a bit of trouble with paypal i thought it would be just like ebay but it was a bit different because there was no link for paypal. is this the same for everyone?

You just send the funds to the persons nominated email you are dealing with.

Welcome - PayPal

you need to have a registered account with them, including credit card or bank details so they can take the money out.

click the sen money button in paypal and enter the persons email address and then follow the instructions,

You aren't purchasing thru the site, you are purchasing from the member. So no link or tab to click that automatically takes you to the members paypal.

It should also be noted that if you are sending money from either your Paypal balance or bank account and select "personal" rather than "purchase" then the person receiving the payment will not be subject to any Paypal fees!!

I think it is....I've only just noticed it anyway!!

My only thought was it might not offer the same protection that regular Paypal payments do...but I couldn't find any info on the topic either way.

I recently paid someone on this site using the "personal" method (paid from my Paypal balance) and no fees were involved in the transaction!!

I didnt know that! Thanks for the info I like paypal for the simple fact that it is an instant payment and makes the whole deal a lot quicker, but a lot of traders on here aren't into it because of the fees involved, so this will help a lot!

Yep I helped out a member with some $ to there paypal, when it was paid back it was sent as personal and no fee's were removed. Now to work out a way to sneak around ebay sales
