that has to be a record amount for a modern card sale/QUOTE]
i found this somewhere Jeremy if you were wondering....
The UD Exquisite Collection All-NBA Access Press Patches (serially numbered 1/1 and featuring the NBA logo patch off of a game-worn jersey) made national headlines when the Kobe Bryant/LeBron James sold for $62,100, and the Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant sold for $27,000. The $62,100 sale is the second highest modern era (1986-87-present) sale of all time, falling behind the first BGS 9.5 Gem Mint 1986-87 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan RC at $77,600.
that article is talking about the 03'04 set!! i dont believe the jordan/james was ever sold by the guy that pulled it?!? i could be wrong??
but yeah...other than logomans and Lebron RC's etc this wade numbers pieces #/3 would have to be a huge record!!
THere is no Jordan/James there dude. It's Jordan/Bryant and Bryant/James. I don't get how Jordan would only sell for under 30,000 with Bryant while Bryant/James sold for 60,000 plus.
yeah, i realise that jimbo....i'm saying that from 03'04 there were 3 1/1 dual logmans....lebron/kobe, kobe/jordan and jordan/lebron.
the first 2 were sales on eaby (i think) and the big difference in prices for the 2 were because no-one really knew there value at the time (being the first exquisite logomans)
the lebron/kobe was the first on ebay as far as i know and every man and his dog wanted it, (plus it's lebrons rookie year) hence the huge price difference over the kobe/jordan which was sold a little while later.
the 3rd one (the jordan/lebron) from 03'04 was pulled and never sold, so it is hard to judge it's potential value. that was the point i was making

Holy Schnikes, thats ridiculous. $25K is one thing, but $250K is just insane, you can safely bet no one is goign to outbid him on that. its just too much of a gamble, wade could bust a knee this year and then hes ****ed, that card would be worth about a grand. im betting its not a serious bid.
