Hey guys, i was going to do one of my special edition maildays with an envelope but couldnt be stuffed so check these bad boys out!!!

Oh, and my Eleanor turned up this year after nearly 10 years of trying, then i got offered his brother....so i obliged and i know theres a few people in here after this for their set chase but dont bother asking

ill try and get a good black one later, im pretty sure it isnt faded, thats the reason there are blue and black inked versions of these becasue the texta ran out there arent many good black ones out there

There are NO black Pippen's mate. Pippen only signed in Blue...I collected the set (completed it, but now sold it as a lot) so know all about those bad boys!

That's 97/98 Norm. Slobby's above is 96/97, and 96/97 are ONLY Blue.

I can definitely confirm that there were only Blue ink Pippen Autographics in 96/97.

i can definatly confrim that you are incorrect!!

Sorry fellas but you this is a BLACK auto, I know of 4 other big pippen collectors (with over 1500 cards btw) who have this black version ....this is 100% black...this is NOT a faded blue card, i will send it out to any collector who doubts me! Im sorry to burst the bubble here but pippen DID NOT sign in just blue!

There was initial confusion when these first came out. i initially read that they were only blue and the blacks were fake, then it was said in beckett that he initially signed in black but then swapped to a blue texta, it was even listed as "Blue Pippens Exist" then for some reason beckett changed it to all "Pippens in Blue"..this was stated in beckett. if there is a beckett collector can they please confirm this...

Sorry to say mate, but it's Blue and faded. The Blacks fade to a yellowish weird color and you can still see the slight blue, but heavily faded, charactoristics on your card above.

You'll have to PM me too, but from examining that pic above close up, it's a faded Blue to me...

Mate its not blue and faded TRUST ME there ARE BLACK autos, as mentioned there are 4 other BIG pip collectors with the blue and black version....im sending you this card mate!

lol it's ok mate! Some blues actually "fade to black". Not saying your's isn't authentic, but never seen a black from that set before! If you have pics of others in existance, that may help!
