Holy crap!! Jordan

Man that's ridiculous, I've seen BG 9.5s of Jordan RC go for just over 1k. I agree those bidding must already have the Jordan RC, even then wouldn't you double up on the RC for that sort of cash cash? Imagine what kinda cash people are going to be throwing around for the RC Jordan in 20 years time!
 

If you can find me a BGS 9.5 Jordan Fleer RC for just over 1K, please let me know where and i'll give you $300 if I do really get the card

Don't mock me dude, it was a few years back before I got right back into collecting but I do remember seeing it about 1,400US.

To add to that, an ungraded MJ went for about $300-$400 a few months back in perfect nick. The guy had like 200 seller feedback at 100% and it 'allegedly' was authentic in Melbourne. If you like I will find the old ebay link to it and you can make up your own mind. I nearly bid on it but went to high for my funds I had at the time.

Edit: Ok it must have been late last year as I can no longer find it in my watch list.

You must have seen the 87-88 MJ card... there's no way you have seen a bgs 9.5 MJ RC finished at under $2K.
 
WOW I guess some are right, here I was thinking the buyers set the market price but it seems I'm wrong.

The MJ Precious Metal Gems card is a stunner! I love the skyscraper background, similar to the 1993-94 Upper Deck "Skylights" sub-set cards.
 
Those old numbered inserrts of MJ are way rarer than his RC, id almost prefer a PMG of MJ than his RC.
 
I like old vintage style cards. A Rookie card from the past would look nice.

And just saw a link for Precious Metal Gem card of Jordan...don't know how many are around...but DAAANNGGG! Look at the price!!!

EDIT: Just wondering, Precious Metal Gems is just another brand like Upper Deck, Fleer etc etc right? I've never even heard of PMG. Are they expensive as packet prices or just the inserts are really REALLY rare?
 
They are an Insert in Skybox products. Im not real up on them so i'll let someone else explain better why they are so wanted.
