Holographic endangered animal cards - 1992???

I acquired 14 holographic animal cards (12 in original cellophane packets) as an addition to some 1992 'colour gram' NRL cards, and I'm assuming that these could be of the same or similar era.
They feature animals which are endangered such as the humpback whale, Irrawaddy Dolphin, Siberian Tiger, Tarantula Spider, just to name a few.
Can anyone give me some insight into these, and as I collect NRL cards, I'm interested in moving them on either by trade or sale, so if interested, let me know.

Yeah I think they are around the same era as the NRL ones as I have or had a Koala one in addition to a Broncos nrl one. I am pretty sure I got both from a newspaper or magazine where you have to cut out a token and redeem it at a newsagent.

Ok thanks Greencardy, yep there is a koala card in the set. Anyone have any idea how many in the set?
