It must have seemed like an odd request at the time for NFL rookies Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Trent Richardson. It was May. It was California. It was hot. And yet, Panini America officials were kindly asking that superstar trio to don Santa hats festooned with their respective NFL team logos for a quick photo op during the 2012 NFLPA Rookie Premiere.
Fast forward six months and it all makes perfect yuletide sense.
Panini America has taken those memorable photos and melded them with crazy-prime oversized pieces of those memorable hats to create some of the coolest, most-collectible holiday cards of this or any other season; holiday cards guaranteed to stand the test of time unlike just about any other greeting card you’ve ever received.
