2010 Topps UFC #4 WANDERLEI SILVA NICKNAME variation sp - eBay, UFC, Cards, Sports Mem, Cards Fan Shop. (end time 10-Oct-10 13:44:51 AEDST)

ok first of all look at the above link. has anyone pulled one of these what are they worth, that is the first one i have seen hit the bay, but i did see one in a video.

Yeah mate, these are short printed variations/parallels. They were going for big dollars when the series first dropped, however Topps released some information stating there are actually 250 nickname variations of each fighter. So it turns out they arent so short at all.

So they are more commom then then /188 parallel. So I wouldnt get to excited and start bidding too high. but who knows they might be really popular and stay high in value. Look at the round 1 silver parallels numbered to /288. they are still going for large sums.

oh ok thanks for the info, i hadnt seen to many before this probably because i have been searching fighters not series 4 in general. yeh i wont be touching that one there, i just thought it was quite odd.

Definately worth getting for your PC. Im gonna get the shogun one (not sure if there is a leben one) but Id probably wait a month or 2. Cause im thinking a lot of these are gonna be popping up and prices are gonna be going down faster then jenna jameson.

yeah i will try to get one but you wont catch me paying anywhere near $100. i suppose now is the time to grab US stuff though the AUS$ being good.

Yeah the last few wandy's went for 15 bucks at auction. The last shogun went for 7, i cant believe i missed that.

Someone bought the vitor belfort for 36 best offer, when one sold at auction for 7.

im thinking around the 10 and under mark will be about right.

Further research has revealed someone was way to pre mature and bought the clay guida for 124. One sold at auction for 9 a few days later. WOOOOPS.

Yeah i saw a big nog one go up a few weeks ago and it sold for 25. I didnt go for it cos i wasnt sure about how many there really were. Might go for one if another pops up.

There are a fair few of these nickname cards on Ebay, but most of them are 'buy-it-now' and are very expensive?

I bet there are heaps in people's collections that have gone un-noticed!
