Hi guys,

Im new to this board got introduced by Hendra (fellow AI collector). My real name is Tom but people call me the Xman
I am Aussie but is currently working overseas. I collect exclusively Iverson, nothing in particular I take the casual hardcore approach, I want everything, but not desperate for anything
Good to see the hobby is still alive and well in Australia!

Btw Im from Sydney, where theres only like 1 card store I am currently aware of (rest all closed down 5-6 years ago or further back)

But all is good where I am now (In taipei) there are 10+ stores and the prices on singles are competitive and sometimes even better than bay after you take shipping into account. So Im just trying to savour the moment

Hope to meet more new people who share the same passion for cards!!

Welcome Xman.....your rigt about the shops all shutting down in Sydney but it happened all over Australia. I used to live in Perth & Melbourne and had many shops to choose from.....no so now

Anyways all the best, hope your sources over there allow for some cool cards to come back this way

Yah Ive been to card shops in Taipei.

Went to the show last weekend in Taipei and got a bit of local contacts. Cards generally are well priced although they do like to squeeze the most of what they have in high end #-o

The shops Ive been to are Jacks, number 1?, and this other one in Chen De road I think

If you got any other shops you can recommend for singles lemme know Ill proly check the other ones out just to see what they have anyway.
