i rekon they got pontings figures wrong, remember and article in mid 2000's where they showed his earnings for that year alone with cricket and sponsorship as 8mil, so i would take that report with a grain of salt, its probably put together as propaganda by the BCCI

is that meant to be for career or like a cricket season lol?

Surely Ponting would have earned a lot more than that in his career with the form he had in the mid 00s.

yeah i just did some googling 2004 he was on 1.7 a year as a player and was bringing in 7.9mill annually in endorsements and sponsorship,
