Hi, i'm Ace, 23 years old from Los Angeles and have been collecting cards since i was 7 but only recently started getting serious about 2 years ago.
I started really getting into collecting a few months before the Anaheim National in 2006 and what better way to boost my new found passion then attending the National. I bought a week long pass and was there every day and it was a great week.
I mostly started collecting basketball cards and then briefly got into Football during the Reggie Bush craze since i'm a USC fan.
Last year i started laying off a little since i started playing Ice Hockey and most of my money was going toward gear and season fees and have only recently got back into collecting and figured "What better sport to pick up then the sport i'm playing" so i'm just starting to collect Hockey.
The Players i've decided to collect are Alexander Ovechkin and Ryan Getzlaf.
Sidney Crosby is one of my other fav players but realistically trying to collect crosby is like trying to collect Jordan and thats kind of a tall order.
My other favorite sport that i'm most passionate about is FOOTBALL (Soccer). It is the sport that i'm most emotionally involved with and will follow untill the day i die. My Fav team is Manchester United (not a front runner but have been supporting them for 15+ years) and am a die hard fan. I love the sport so much that i am ashamed that we americans call another sport "football" when it clearly should have been called "Throwball", but thats another subject.
Right now i'm looking to get rid or trade alot of my basketball and football collection to start building my Hockey collection, so if there is anything anyone would like to get rid of in terms of Ovechkin, Getzlaf, or Crosby, please let me know!!
