Hello peoples.

Was wondering what to do about all those old basketball cards i have stored away that i collected as a kid.

Was hoping that there would be a forum somewhere that would allow me to get it touch with people in the know and hopefully learn a little about value and collectability before i go making any decisions about the lot. and it seems i may have found one.

anyway will be looking through the site and seeing whats happening.
fingers crossed that i have something of value and not a box of firestarters. :v:

Looking foreward to learning a thing or 2.

Welcome to the site, once you get a list together feel free to share it with everyone here and I'm sure we can all lead you in the right direction but you might want to check out the Beckett website as well for price lists if your curious.

Welcome to the site and enjoy.

Thanks Ooniel,
I am interested in knowing how active the forum is?
I noticed theirs 5000 odd members, and 100 odd online.
are you guys here a sociable bunch? or do most users generally stick to themselves?

Cheers mate.

Welcome David! We're a very sociable bunch, though mainly the NRL guys and NBA guys stick to their own respective forums. But other than that, we all know each other pretty well and you'll feel welcome very quickly as well :v:

Got anyone you have in mind to collect or just looking to offload your old cards?

Cheers Maso, I will check that out during the week once ive got the cards out of storage.

To be honest I cant even remember what I have got. only that the majority are circa 1992-6 nbl cards, a set of hologams, and some other nba cards from around the same time.

Just googled the site, looks like it would have a lot of price data.
Thanks.

And cheers lilreddevil, hopefully i will have some time available to talk to other members and have something to add to the community. :)

Oh, initially i am looking to offload and/or complete sets and sell.
And will likely keep some cards / smaller sets to keep longer term, something i will treasure, not just store.
