Hello all. I have been informed that this is the norm when using this site so here goes. I'm a 35 yo guy from tassie who has been collecting trading cards for 30 years. I have all sorts of cards from all types of sports and other crap including such things as a set of "neighbours" cards that i will deny i have if anyone asks me. My cards mostly consist of soccer, baseball, basketball, rugby and nfl with the vast majority being Afl (95% at least i reckon). I have hundreds of complete sets in storage and numerous folders full of commons and inserts. These range from 1933 ciggie cards to the current select cards. I also have hundreds of non complete base sets that i will be looking to do something about in the near future. I even have a specially made wardrobe that contains hundreds of thousands of cards that i havent had a chance to sort through yet. A rough estimate would put a price tag of $150k on my collection (i look at it as my superannuation). Although i quite often have intentions of buying cards and selling what i dont need, i often end up keeping the left overs anyway. I have sold a few bits and pieces on Ebay but the vast majority of my activity has been the purchase of footy cards.
