First of all I would just like to stress how much of an absolute beginner I am. When I was younger I had an obsession with trading cards and the excitement that comes with it. Basically all of my money went towards it until I grew out of it in high school. Anyway, I'm at university now and playing poker semi-professionally for my income. Considering all is going well and has been since the beginning of last year I thought it would be a great time to start a proper collection as I have always wanted to.
I would love some help from anyone that is willing on this site because I do not know where to start. I was intending on waiting on this years Select release of AFL cards, but from what I have read on a thread on this site it is going to be a massive dissapointment again in terms of the variety of the cards. I am very fond of the NBA but I think I am not into it enough to pour all of my money into a collection for it. I also love cricket.
I hope someone could help me out soon because I'm struggling to hold back from buying a 08/09 Hot Prospects NBA box, haha. Thanks.
