Hey, new and have a few questions :)

Hi all,

ive heard of this site for a while, but never signed up. I collect alot of signed and memorabillia nba cards. I usualy use COMC and ebay.

I buy players i like, and ones i think will grow to be stars

I recently nabbed a gem , IMO, a 1986 STAR '86 NBA "COURT KING": MICHAEL JORDAN #18 OF 33 card for 15 bux. The person didnt seem to know how much it was worth, and frankly neither did i, or really do i

i looked it up, and ungraded ones are listed in th 100 or so range, and my card is in pretty great condition

does anyone know how much this is worth, like are people just asking crazy prices for it? or is it actually worth that much,

i have never sold any cards before, but for that much profit, id surely consider it,

if anyone knows anything, (or if they think this is the wrong section or site to ask), please let me know

Hey Jordan, welcome aboard, plenty of friendly & knowledgeable collectors here bud.

As for the MJ, I personally would be very wary of any "Star" issued cards, as there are a lot of fakes & the reprints that we made in the early 90's as well, hopefully yours is a real version.

Welcome to the site mate, as for the card, I'm no expert, but it looks too perfect! Centering and and condition looks too spot on, that itself might be a warning flag.
