Hey all,

I found this place on google, seemed like a nice place so I decided to join.


Anyway a little about myself.

I use to collect Fleer Basketball cards in 94-96. Till they slowly died off here in Tas.

I have the full sets form 94-95 and 96-96 base and inserts.

I also have about 300 Michael Jordan cards (inc the Fleer Rookie card).

Recent I got into them again and purchased a few fleer 07-08 boxes to unpack only to realise how different the basketball card industry is now.

It would appear Upper Deck has baught alot out and has ruined the industry some what by making all these limited edition cards and REAL EXPENSIVE packets.

But none the less I like the look of the fleer, back to old skool. It is a shame that 07-08 was the last year of fleer normal. I may consider 08-09 fleer hot prospects as a possibility.

Anyway to wrap it up, nice to meet you all. Hope to get to know you better.

Welcome, im a newbie on this site as well, like yourself buying Basketball cards, they were red hot in early 90s, I wish we got into our own sports and made the rugby, afl and cricket cards red hot today as well, I remember one guy in High school, who had every insert including the base set of 1994/95 fleer and I remember some guys older than me get a hot pack, wow they were the times. Yeah I brought some of the expensive upper deck stuff and will do a box break of them next month, take it easy, dude

yer definetly looking to collect some more. if anyone is willing to PM some hints and tips on what card packets or boxes i should get etc.. it would be good.
