Help with collecting basketball cards

Hi, I am new to the forums. I have decided to start collecting basketball cards again (I used to as a kid). I want to collect certain players only, as I know there are too many cards out there to collect everything. What I need to know is to collect individual cards, am I better off just trading with others or to still buy boxes even though I may be looking for only a few players in the whole box?

Yep Ebay is the way to go, bustin boxes is more just for fun and hope u can pull something nice. Much easier and cheaper to just buy your player/s off ebay or on here.

ebay if you're chasing the better players.. if you're looking to collect semistars or worse, shipping is gonna kill you as the shipping might be more expensive than the card.. but def not boxes. boxes are too expensive nowadays compared to 10-15 years ago. lol
