Help me kick start my all-star weekend (East/West) PC

So after deciding what my PC will be I'm having trouble getting it going. The past week or so I've been scanning all the old posts/tradelists trying to find what is available here but not having much luck.

A few members have been nice enough to PM through what they have but mostly it's been base cards. I'm interested in all-star weekend (East/West) related inserts and GU, and possibly auto's (if they aren't too expensive) for the following players, preferably with the all-star jersey.

Ok, just to clarify, you are after these al-star players? or actually all-star, like all-star weekend type cards of these guys?

On Game Used, i'm pretty sure I can i can find anything in my collection that may help you on your way.

Gosh, thats gonna be very hard for some of those guys, and for some, I can tell you that it's gonan bedran exepensive to get what you are after there if you are firm on the "all-star" weekend theme.

If you aren't firm on the "all-star weekend" jersey thing, then I probably have some stuff available. But been collecting just about everything for the past 17 years, and would struggle with some of those guys having a all-star weekend jersey peice in the card.
Going to be a challengeing chase for you thats for sure.

Good luck man, I'll see if I have anything that may fit that bill.
 
So you'd be looking for cards like this:

2004-05 Topps All-Star Support #ASIK A.Iverson/J.Kidd - eBay (item 330515182669 end time Feb-02-11 19:05:09 PST)

To be honest, you'll find it very hard to find any cards of players in All-Star uniforms pre-1987; they will possibly be some in modern day releases but I know their isn't any in 1948 Bowman, 1957 Topps or 1961 Fleer so Cousy, Schayes and Arizin won't have any; I'm not sure if Russell, Chamberlain, West and Greer will either.

Personally, I'd focus more on the current players such as Duncan, Garnett, O'Neal, Kobe etc. rather than all of the players who played more than 10 ASG. Or maybe you could try to collect 1 auto, 1 GU, 1 #ed card and 1 RC of each of the NBA ASG MVPs?

Just some thoughts and I'll have a look through my cards to see if I can give you a hand.
 
Matt and Michael, you're comments are spot on. I figure for some of them I'll have to go with something that actually exists rather than something perfect, but it would be great to kick it off with some of the newer players that have releases with the jersey pic etc and go from there. I've been spending a fair bit of time on beckett.com so I know there's some nice stuff out there. Hopefully a few members on this site can help me out. There's also some nice stuff showing up on ebay.
