Hello,
My name is Kevin. I am an Indiana Hoosier FANATIC who collects basketball cards of former IU players. It helps that only a couple of them had careers worth talking about, so the cards are usually pretty cheap.

I've been married just over a year and live in South Bend, IN... originally from Madison, IN.

I am a Registered Nurse and outright sports fanatic. That's about it for me. Thanks.

Good to have you here Kevin! Like ace e im not sure on the colleges that most players come from so who are the big names from IU? Once again welcome to OzCards mate :)

The main player from IU that I collect is Calbert Cheaney. I am always looking for his 93-94 Topps Finest Refractor or Base card. It's just my favorite card of his. The most recent players from IU are Eric Gordon (Clippers) & DJ White (Thunder). The only other IU Alum still in the NBA is Jared Jeffries. Other former IU players are Bracey Wright (T-Wolves), Kirk Haston (Charlotte Hornets), AJ Guyton (Bulls), Andrae Patterson (T-Wolves), Alan Henderson (Hawks mostly), Brian Evans (Magic), & Greg Graham (76ers). None of these guys were in the league more than a year or two except for Henderson, but they all had a lot of different cards made. Jeff Newton & George Leach never actually made a team, but they both have had Topps Chrome and Upper Deck cards made of them, though they are hard to find. Of course, I only collect players from "my time". Isiah Thomas was long gone before I was heavy into watching Indiana. As was big George McGinnis. There are a few other random players from the late 70s through the 80s that were IU alum. Kent Benson, Quinn Buckner, Mike Woodson, Randy Whittman, and Steve Alford.

Hello Queensland. Two years ago I spent the entire month of Feb in Australia. Started in Melbourne (St Kilda area) and went along the southern coast to Adelaide. We only spent two days in Adelaide, but rode a train to beautiful little town called Glenelg. From there it was Alice Springs and Ayer's Rock. We decided to ditch the desert and flew from there to Cairns. Wow, that was really a beautiful place too. I hope to make it back and spend another couple days on the Great Barrier Reef. Beautiful country you have there.

Ahhh nice one so a fair few players your on the lookup for! Have you got a PC for us to check out?

Good to see you've spent some time in Australia to mate :)

Welcome to the site mate, that little train down to Glenelg would of been a tram and yes that is a nice little part of Radelaide. Enjoy your time here.:v:

My personal collection is not impressive to others. It's literally made up of the players I mentioned. I very rarely buy packs. I pretty much just always buy single cards of the players I collect.

Although, I can make ace e jealous of one particular card. I have the Cyan Printing Plate from 2008-09 Topps Co-Signers #d 1/1 that was used to make the dual auto card of Baron Davis & Eric Gordon. The plate is signed by both as well. I only have it because of Gordon. If I want to post a picture of it, do I need to do it with photobucket, or can I just upload it like an attachment?

Gday mate and welcome!

Some good places you've been to in Aus! The Great Ocean Road is a nice drive (if that's the way you went!)

Hope you can find some additions here for your collection!
