Hello everyone!

Hi all! New to the site, but definitely not to collecting. My name is Nathan, and I live in the USA. I am a big basketball collector - primarily Kevin Garnett, in which I have over 1000 different cards of. Some of you may recognize me from another site, where I am a moderator, and I have probably even traded with a few of you!

I originally heard of your site from someone I traded with who lives in Australia, and have since heard of you guys a few other times - then, I saw this site on the UD Awards poll, and decided that I should finally check you out, as most people that have talked about you have raved about your basketball section. So, I'm hoping that I can find some more Garnett's that I can add to my collection here!

You should count them up and enter it on the 'most dedicated collectors' thread for a particular player. You would be very close to the top

Thanks! I actually do have an exact count - 1040 - I keep them all typed up too on the other site I'm on (not sure if it's allowed to name other sites, so I'll keep that part to myself)...I'm a bit too organized at times...haha. I'll see if I can find that thread though! Thanks for the heads up!

yeh just type in dedicated in the search at the top and it should come up third from the top

I don't get many doubles, only like of the parallels etc, hope to get to 1000 one day, wowsers.

Have you slowed down since he left the Twolves or picked up the collection as you missed him playing there? Must have been great to watch some games I would have been to heaps!

Sweet on collecting Pierce...one of my side PCs is Ray Allen, so between us, we can make up a pretty sweet collection of the Big 3, I'm sure!

Thanks fellow KG fan Actually, I really first started collecting him once he left (odd, I know)...I owned about 15-20 cards prior to joining any online community, and have added over 1000 KGs solely from the other site I'm on, as I don't use ebay either...that's been over the last 2+ years. But yeah, it was a great experience being able to watch him play...I just kick myself for never attending a game :-(

Anyway, I have alot of dupes myself, so if you are interested, I could type them up and maybe we could work out a trade...you'd be surprised at how many base cards I still need, considering they are the easiest to pick up!

That is odd!
I collected him in the late 90's, had a break from collecting, sold most stuff up except a few PC items, came back in early 2000's, had another break from collecting, and came back into it about 10 months ago or so when I joined this site and re-ignited the collecting spark.

I will PM you when I get a chance and def organise a trade if possible, I'll look through and see what I have and if you need any!
