One of the most appealing aspects of Panini America’s Toronto Fall Expo wrapper-redemption program every year is the inclusion of fun player-used memorabilia cards that are both uniquely entertaining and collectibly scarce. For next week’s 2013 Toronto Fall Expo, that lineup includes massively proportioned swatches of a game-used Los Angeles Lakers basketball, player-worn head gear, jerseys and sweat-soaked towels from some of the top NHL and NBA rookies of the 2013-14 season.
Featured on the company’s ongoing Tools of the Trade and Rookie Materials promotion-exclusive designs, this year’s checklist headliners — Kobe Bryant, Nail Yakupov, Nathan MacKinnon, Anthony Bennett and many more — will be featured on both base versions and scarcer Cracked Ice parallels.
What follows is a telling gallery that serves to set the table for what Canadian collectors can expect from the program’s memorabilia inserts when the show opens next Friday. It’s another stirring rendition that will keep the Panini America booth buzzing with big pulls from open to close.
