Just looking through some of the major statistical categories and was pleasantly suprised by the fact that so many of the upcoming young bucks around the league are really pushing the envelope with their performances and are right up there as league leaders or very close to it:
just some examples -
k-love (4th season)... 4th in scoring, 2nd in rebounding
durant (5th season)... 3rd in scoring and already 2 time scoring champ
aldridge (6th season)... 5th in scoring and been a consistent improver
cousins (2nd season)... 5th in rebounding - this kid will be a beast with a bad attitude
rubio (rookie)... 5th in assists and league leader in steals - he is better than advertised
serge ibaka, javale mcgee, deandre jordan, marc gasol... top 4 in the league in shot blocking
Agree with all the above! Other up and comers for me are Jordan Crawford, Paul George, Greg Monroe and BJ Mullens! Andy V from the Cavs is also having his best season yet!
The new wave of NBA players is coming!! Some other guys would be Irving, having one of the best rookie seasons I have seen, and Alonzo Gee from Cleveland, is having an amazing season!!
