Just wanted to hear of the progress you guys have made on 2k11 with the MJ Challenges.


Personally I Haven't hit 50 pts yet with MJ (8 min Quarters ) but i must admit he is a beast to play with especially when you get him hot his fadeaways are awesome :woot:

Had a couple of games with my Nephew ( Kobe/Lakers Fan ) and absolutely destroyed Kobe on the MJ machup .
Kobe 16 Pts to MJ 38 Pts :lol::lol:
 
Just did the Shootout not sure if thats what the challenge is called ? Anyway the one where you have to outscore D Wilkins and hit 5 assists , just broke the 50 mark with MJ hitting 61pts 5reb 7ast 2 stl
 
Havent done the 69 challenge yet but scored up around 60 twice with him! Im addicted to my player at the moment! Got drafted by Miami and am 6th man at the moment as a PF!
 
I am buying it on PC over the weekend!

Played at my mates. Played for hours. Was real fun, especially being MJ
 
ive done 5 mj challenges now.. got 6 shoes tho! i average about a double double everytime with jordan almost every game with bout 70+ points and atleast 10 assist! i find it hard with steals and boards.. but scoring, passing and making plays is really easy for me! just need to work on my D! then ill be unstoppable!! lol

Yeah I have done:
- the 69 points (got the 69 with 4 seconds to spare!!!)
- the Bad Boys (he hit 62 against the Pistons)
- the Shootout (only got 33, but didn't need to do more :D Held Nique to 4 in the 2nd half so he finished with 19)
- Double Nickel (hit 59 points)

Just tried the Sonics game, 22points, 9 boards, 6 assists needed...won the game by 16, but MJ finished with 49 points, 10 assists but ONLY 7 boards...so I failed...how do I stop Rodman out rebounding me? :lol:

I'm going to struggle with the 63 points though me thinks since I like the triple and he can't shoot it back then...
 
I've got a wii and a ps2. I want to play this after just reading about this stuff, but wii is really annoying for basketball (NBA Live 08 anyway...).

Just finished The Shrug. Yesterday I thought I had, but I thought Knicks game was The Shrug :lol: Hit the 6 triples in the first half and 40 points. MJ rested the entire last quarter cause I was up 30, so his final stats were 62 points, 3 assists, 2 boards and 2 steals with 9/16 from downtown! Managed to keep Drex to only 13, 6 in the 1st quarter.

wow i suck at the challenges, havn't been able to do one yet. Closest i got was the one i said on ps3 against the celts with 55pts over 50%shooting and 9 assists. The one against Wilkins he just owned me in the 2nd half, i remember Pippen being a better defender than the game portrays :yellow:

Wilkins had 15 in the 1st half against me, but I switched up the D in the 3rd and kept him scoreless, then in the last I simply sagged off different guys to make him pass instead of shoot cause I was up 20 and there was no way I'd lose :lol: So he finished with 19. And yeah I agree, I remember Pippen to be a much much better defender than the game suggests.

Man again with the Father's Day...MJ 41 points, 14 assists but only 4 rebounds...cause Rodman had 8 and Pippen 7...won by 30 too...bloody rebounds!
 
Nice stuff Ben your killing it mate , I realized i did not complete the Nique Challenge he hit 37pts on PIP but i just completed the easiest one there with Detroit .

Awesome game so much more flow than 2k10 just can't get over the turn around fade away just feels so good .
 
Yeah the fade is smooth as! Hard to believe it's so much better than 2k10!

I tried both the games that need rebounds...rebounds were the only thing stopping me. I beat the sonics by over 20 twice. Utah were easy to lock down. Even with me trying to pump up MJ and such with his flu symptoms I won by ~20...

And the Lakers, I'm up 2-1 with MJ averaging 38ppg, 11apg and shooting 65%. Good start.

Got The Arrival :D I was up most of the game and since it was only 5 with 30 seconds left, they intentionally fouled me and I hit the free throws to get to 64. Got a 3 point play the next time down the court for good measure and finished with 67 and 6 assists and a 7 point win!

Then played game 4 of the Lakers Finals. Took it by 19, 91-72 to go 3-1 up in the series. 9/21 from downtown as a team, only 1 of those was MJs. 46 points, 6 boards, 12 assists to be averaging 40ppg, 12apg and shooting 65% going into hopefully the last game of the series!

And took the series 4-1 :D MJ comes through with 32-5-15 and 3 steals in the final game. I LOVE passing out of the double team! Paxson 3/4 3pters and BJ Armstrong 3/3. Grant some nice mid range stuff too.

Makes 7 challenges done with Father's Day, Flu Game and Last Dance to go :)
 
I can't play 2k11, i swear every 2nd pass i throw i gets intercepted and the rest of the team can't hit shots. It's driving me insane!
