I downloaded 2K8 over the last couple of days (lots of leechers, not many seeders connecting) and it is pretty similar to last years. Don't worry, all you do-gooders - I am still buying an official copy, as when I get these ones, they seem to run slower/commentary and occasional sound effects are out of whack.

Without changing the sliders, it appears a lot easier to score. Played on the second highest level and won by forty. Played with GSW and traded for the following line up without a trade being rejected. Traded away Baron, Stephen Jackson, Pat O'Bryant and Al Harrington

PG - Monta Ellis
SG - Marco Belinelli
SF - Andrea Bargnani
PF - Andre Kirilenko
C - Andris Biedrins

Subs - Rasho Nesterovic, Matt Harpring, JJ Redick, Brandon Wright, Darko Milicic.

Defence, particularly shotblocking, appears to have become easier. Will go straight to Superstar level tomorrow night as a result of the ease I had today... but then again, I was playing the Clippers!!! ;)

Hard to judge your three pointers now, as your players step into their shots, it seems. Probably a practice thing. Most players fade when shooting. Offensive rebounding seemed easier too.

Anyone else had a crack at it yet? Will be getting my proper copy on the 26th, but in the meantime, this'll tide me over. :)

Oh, and when I say "quick game" I mean 11-minute quarters.

Awesome, is that PC, or XBox?

I thought about looking for a copy, but I'll wait for the 360 release, and buy that.

Your trade looks a little odd tho, some of the stars you traded off for some of the duds you picked up (Rasho, Harpring, Darko???).

Yeah, may be construed as dud-trades, but it's just personal preference of players I've collected at times. :)

It is a PS2 version, by the way.
