Elastic Bands....... How old was the seller, like 8? Its always part of the anticipation of receiving your cards (how they are packaged). Ive seen/had worse, but thats right up there. Unlucky mate.
That's why we have rules and minimum requirements for postage here - at least you know what you are going to get and it's never going to be pot luck if you deal with an established member.
Graham it was obviously not an OCT member it was as you guessed an eBay auction, (you live and learn then forget and learn again), but still a bargain so I shouldn't be to peeved, but.......
That is just crap mate....terrible packaging
Who was the seller? i would leave him crap feedback
....i remember when i bought a foil bulldogs sig from 2008 off ebay....in the listing it said mint, and the picture showed it as mint...when i got it in the mail however it wasnt even close to mint. 3 corners badly bent and a bend that went right through the middle. I was very dissapointed with that seller.
Also very crappy packaging i got on that foil sig....maybe it happened in the post even...but still it was the sellers fault...there was a piece of paper around it as "protection"
Brplat
In the sellers defense they are not a regular card seller, in fact it was a mum selling one of her kids cards because she needed the cash, The boys are now doing a joint collection rather than individual collections.....
So I might be a bit soft in not naming and shaming but she is now very aware of what is expected if she sells any more cards, she offered to compensate me but I didn't have the heart.......
Disclaimer: I am tough, a real man, I don't cry....................... loudly
Atleast there not card sellers and they offered to compensate you for the items.
I recieved a envelope with a toploader and a card in it yesterday (no other protection), if only the card was in the toploader ay lol.
Lucky no damage to the card.
