Wifey and I went and saw Grinspoon last night at the Metro here in Sydney. And while they played a lot of stuff from their soon to be released album (I'm sure it'll grow on me like Thrills, Kills....) they still rocked as good as ever. I think it was funny that this may have been one of the first times that Phil has performed sober, he was drinking water! And to top off everything, we spent the night in the swanky new Rydges at World Square. Very nice ;)

Anybody else go or going to see them during their tour?

Do they play much of 'Guide to Better Living'? Hated Kills, Thrills...completely different and commercial

Good to see them back and rocking out.....I've seen the grinners a few times and they always put on a good show! Even when Phil was off his head....

Cheers
Matt

They played mostly brand new stuff with a few songs from the rest of the albums, except Easy! Just because they hate it doesn't mean everyone else does :p

Grinspoon was the first band i idolised. I was obsessed with Guide to Better Living when it first came out. All the albums are good until that latest piece of crap Pills and Kills bullshit.
Im yet to see them live yet but hopefully sometime this year i will get to see them, im going to See Cog Next weekend and i got my Bullet for my Valentine ticket for Sep.

I've already seen Tenacious D, Hatebreed, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stone Sour this year :D Loves it!
