Hey would like to know if anyone is going to the Gridiron nationals this year in victoria in a couple of months?

yeh go for it mate, if you like smacking people about then you will love the game. I got to stop buying cards and save some money and try and beat the vics on their home turf

cool, well i thorougly enjoy smashing into people, and i'm a pretty big guy too! i'm going to my local clubs combine/tryouts on the 31st Jan, so hopefully all goes well from there!

Watch the WA boys this year, they are coming with a full complement of dudes now that they got all the politics out of it.

I can tell you that this year is going to be the best Nationals ever! Gridiron has been growing leaps and bounds the last few years and is going to be getting bigger from the people showing interest and with the world games coming up again, I am sure that Australia will have another team and will be giving a good show.

I believe that there are 9 adult teams in Perth now, with some clubs having a "b" squads as the numbers are just so high. Then you have the Juniors which is running 5 teams.

Anyway, anyone up for giving Gridiron a go should, as its a great sport and not easy, and the way most Aussies like a great national team to compete on the world level, this should give you enough motivation to get to know the game and get out there and smack some heads around and take no prisoners!
