I've been collecting for years now: started in Beckett, then Hobby Insider and Traders Retreat as well as Sports Card Forum and Hobby Kings. I was recommended to join by ozflava.
I gave up collecting cards for a couple of years and focused on signed basketball memorabilia. I was a huge lakers collector, Derek Fisher, Shaq and Kobe collector. I also completed autos of the NBA Top 50 ( had to make my own Maravich card by buying the check and sending it to psa/dna to slab and authenticate, same goes for McHale). Sold it in a private auction when I got out. I also completed the 03-04 Legendary Fabrics auto/gu set...then sold it
I really have no direction right now in collecting...just buying and trading for players I like...once I see a pattern, I tend to create my mini sets.
It is refreshing to find another site to trade/buy/sell on. Thanks OZCARDTRADER.COM!
