For those of you that missed the fight today, boy did you miss out !!!
Danny tore it up

Every undercard fight was outstanding !!! something you rarely see these days :(

But ***DANNY GREEN*** just looked awesome with his control, conditioning and power in that right hand =D>

Look out for his next fight that may be happening in November against Jones , i dont know how he will go but it sure to be one of the best fights this decade without a doubt =D>

PS, Mundine would not have a chance against the Green machine that i watched today :worthy:

End rant

he looked good against a tomato can lol. The dude he beat had already been beaten up by 2 of mundines old opponents.

On that note... rjj looked good against a tomato can aswell, so atleast they both have the same form coming into their bout ;)

Still, will be good to have such a high profile name over here fighting, can only do the community over here good.

roy was still pretty sharp for a 40yo though...he really should retire, its not doing his legacy anygood.....why is it that ALL boxers go past their prime....thank god kostya didnt stay on after hatton.

oh yeah no doubt, he does look good for 40.. and he will still have to much speed for green. Im glad kostya never got back in the ring, it was heartbreaking watching him loose to hatton

i feel ya pain mate, was the most gut wrenching thing ive felt in a long long time....i was so pumped when he smashed zab juddah then felt the exact polar opposite when hatton beat him...

Watched both fights yesterday and was impressed with both winners, although their opposition left a lot to be desired, it was the way both went about it. While i'm a massive green fan and will travel to wherever the fight is in Australia, i think danny will have his hands full with roy's speed. While danny is now fighting at his most comfortable weight, we all remember how easily choc 'mudaine' picked him apart with his speed.

Im glad that both fighters got the W, still hoping the fight will be in Melbourne, ill be there if so!

looks like your outta luck champ.. i might go to this one

It was announced that the cruiserweight bout between Roy Jones Jr. and Danny Green will land in Sydney, Australia on the tentative date of November 21. The venue has not been anounced but Green's team members have told reporters that a large venue is in the process of being secured. Jones has captured titles middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. He never fought at cruiserweight and attempts to win the fringe IBO title that Green picked up last weekend.

NSW Premier Nathan Rees told SBS that Jones-Green will be the biggest boxing event in the history of Australia. There is a big plan being mapped out to promote the fight with many media and fan related events.

"This will be the biggest fight ever staged in Australia and it will be beamed to all points of the globe," Rees said. "Sydney gained a global reputation for delivering the biggest and best events, like the Olympics, the Rugby World Cup and World Youth Day. Today's announcement shows Sydney's stamp of excellence continues to help deliver results. After his sensational performance [against Dominguez] I'm sure Australian fans can't wait to cheer Danny on in their own backyard."

Whats with green fighting boxers past there used by date? Manny Siaca has only had 3 fights in the last 4 years against less the great fighters. And Jones JR fights for money not to win these days. I'd like to see Green fight someone thats in the prime that can test him.

I'd love to see the same from Mundine too, but pigs will fly before there's a chance of that happening!!!!
