Yep - BGS grade the cards lower with the peel still on. PSA don't seem to matter as much, unless the peel is bubbled and torn.
It was an Ebay pickup - I expected it to go for 3 times the amount it did .. I think a combination of Hill collectors pulling out and being the offseason helped tremendously.
It's a scan, on my Canon scanner .. some scanners take the focus as the item closest to the plate, where as other scanners (like mine) have a greater depth of field so it keeps items in focus even if they are slightly off the plate.
