Grading

If anyone is sending any cards to PSA for grading anytime soon, please LMK. I've never had anything graded before, and would like to try a few cards and see how they come back. I'll share postage costs + cost of grading, of course.

I've got a couple I'd like to send in soon, I'll probably wait until they have another special on, it's cheaper, and it makes a difference.

Cost me about $20AU/card last time we (Hill33 & I) did our submission.

They have cheaper rates, sometimes $5-$7US a card but it takes longer to get graded, and posted back.

so its not really worth getting lower end cards graded... eg a dwight topps chrome rc?

Would depend on you mate. If you wanted to get all his RCs graded, then yeah, it'd be worth it. If you think that card is in great condition, and you feel the best way to keep it that way is to have it slabbed, then yeah get it graded.

If you wanted to get it graded to sell hoping to get a bit beter value for it, then probably not worth grading it.

If it was a Gold Refractor, perhaps it'd be worth it.

All comes down to what you plan to do with it.

It's a card I just like, I bought a graded bosh, and just wouldn't mind having the howard to go with it.

Might have a look at sending a few higher end JR rookies in....

It might also be worth checking the population reports...if there have only been a few high grades and you reckon you've got a good one then it might be worth submitting.
