grade service bgs or psa

i have never sent cards for grading before but i am looking into it. but between bgs grading service and psa i got told from other people that psa has more value than bgs grading. but a lot of people use bgs grading service so i want other people's opinion in this forum which they prefer bgs or psa grading

Simple answer is;

Pre 1994 = PSA
1995 onwards = BGS

Does this mean 1994 cards or earlier psa and 1995 and onwards bgs but I've seen cards on ebay over 1995 and onwards on psa grading

@Chaz81 I mean whoch service is best for the value of the card after grading.

BGS are tougher, but as a result a 2018 BGS9 will generally be more valuable than a PSA9.

Old cards are the reverse. Always grade vintage cards with PSA
